UCET: Utah Conference For Educational Technology - Spring, 2015 and every year!
Register for EdCamp Utah - Saturday, October 10, 2015 - Neil Armstrong Academy
Edcamp Utah is a type of “unconference” designed specifically for teachers and their needs.
Edcamp Utah is designed to provide participant-driven professional development for K-12 educators. This is a free participant-driven conference with a primary focus on education and technology.
Built on principles of connected and participatory learning, Edcamp Utah strives to bring teachers together to talk about the things that matter most to them: their interests, passions, and questions. Teachers who attend Edcamp Utah can choose to lead sessions on those things that matter, with an expectation that the people in the room will work together to build understanding by sharing their own knowledge and questions.
Edcamp Utah will be:
1. free
2. non-commercial and conducted with a vendor-free presence
3. hosted by UCET in partnership with local school districts
4. made up of sessions that are determined on the day of the event
5. an event where anyone who attends can be a presenter - reliant on the “law of two feet” that encourages participants to find a session that meets their needs.
Registration opens August 15. Info at www.UCET.org. Limited to 200 registrants.
